The Registry of Aruba offers an effective service and solution for banks, owners, and leasing companies of aircraft stored, parked, or between leases.
When airliners are not in commercial operation, they are classified as a “private aircraft,” allowing owners to benefit from The Registry of Aruba’s quick, efficient and cost-effective service.
Aircraft that are temporarily out of operation, whether previously used for private, corporate, or commercial purposes, must be placed under an approved storage program. During this period, the aircraft will be registered under the private category in Aruba (AUA-OPS 2A) until they are ready to return to service.
Benefits of Aircraft under storage in Aruba:
- Aircraft registration process timeframe: 24 – 48 Hours
- Foreign nationals and foreign companies can register or maintain the registration of their aircraft in Aruba by electing domicile, without the need to incorporate an Aruban company.
- Aircraft imported from an EASA Member State required no Export Certificate of Airworthiness (CoA) provided the aircraft has a Certificate of Airworthiness with a valid Airworthiness Review Certificate (ARC).
- Mutual Recognition of EASA 145, UK CAA, UAE GCAA 145, Hong Kong CAD 145, and Singapore SCAA 145 maintenance organizations regardless of its geographical location.
- Flight Crew and Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License validations are valid for up to a maximum of two (2) years.
- Indefinite Period of Validity for Airspace Approvals and AWOPS.
